We caught another saw-whet owl!
Friday, October 28th, was our last day of banding, and this little girl was our last bird, a great way to end the fall banding season!
We named her Cleopatra, Queen of the Isle.
Check out Cleo's feet! Those talons are sharp, take my word for it-- if you see any blood on them, it's mine!

She liked us so much she decided to hang around in a nearby tree for a few minutes before flying off.
