It's Official- Migration is Here!

Today was the first day that I can honestly say that the park was alive with the sound of birds singing nonstop. It was nothing short of wonderful. And, of course, it's only going to get better!!

With the big birding festival this weekend please remember to come visit the banding station as well. I will be banding at Niagara Boat Launch on Friday and at Fry's Landing on both Saturday and Sunday. As long as the weather is good and there's birds to be caught I plan to band so if there's talks or tours that you would rather go on in the morning please feel free to stop by the banding station in the afternoon.

Here's some photos of the more recent catches to wet your appetite.
