Cooper's Hawk caught in the net-looking pretty vicious I might add!

Michelle trying to steal a kiss from a male Downy woodpecker, who looked like he would rather have hammer head pecked her lips right off her face haha! I don't care, I still love him.
Christine holding a cedar waxwingMon Aug. 30 @ Fry's: 2 magnolia warbler, 1 american redstart, 4 common yellowthroat, 2 downy woodpecker, 1 swainson's thrush, 3 gray catbird, 1 cooper's hawk = 14 birds total.
Tues Aug. 31 @ Niagara: 2 eastern pheobe, 1 common yellowthroat, 1 trails flycatcher, 1 black and white warbler, 2 red eyed vireo, 1 swainson's thrush, 2 veery, 4 cedar waxwing, 1 white breasted nuthatch, 3 gray catbird, 3 american robin = 21 birds total.
Wed Sept. 1 @ Fry's: 2 common yellowthroat, 1 ovenbird, 6 gray catbird = 9 birds total.
Thurs Sept. 2 @ Bluffs: 1 downy woodpecker, 2 northern cardinal, 1 gray catbird, 1 hooded warbler = 5 birds total.
Fri Sept. 3 @ Fry's: 1 blackpoll warbler = 1 bird total. Nets closed early due to high winds.
Sat Sept. 4 @ Niagara: Nets closed due to high winds and rain. :o(
We are hoping for better weather in the coming week so that we can catch more birds!!!!!! Stop by and visit us!
