Week 9: Oct. 4 - Oct. 9 2010

SCOTT!!!!! Thank you SOOOOO much for the bagels, coffee, and help processing birds, we really needed a hand!!!

Mon. Oct. 4 @ Fry's: 26 golden crowned kinglet, 7 ruby crowned kinglet, 8 brown creeper, 1 nashville warbler, 1 tenessee warbler, 45 myrtle warbler, 1 common yellowthroat, 2 slate colored junco, 1 black throated blue warbler, 1 blue headed vireo, 4 hermit thrush, 1 white throated sparrow, 1 white crowned sparrow, 1 gray catbird = 100 birds total.

Tues. Oct. 5 @ Niagara: RAIN :o(

Wed. Oct. 6 @ Fry's: RAIN AGAIN!!!! :o(

Thurs. Oct. 7 @ Bluffs: 4 brown creeper, 7 ruby crowned kinglet, 1 slate colored junco, 1 myrtle warbler, 1 swamp sparrow, 1 blue headed vireo, 6 white throated sparrow, 1 white crowned sparrow, 1 gray cheeked thrush, 1 eastern towhee, 1 sharp shinned hawk = 25 birds total.

Friday Oct. 8 @ Fry's: 6 brown creeper, 6 golden crowned kinglet, 1 ruby crowned kinglet, 22 myrtle warbler, 2 black capped chickadee, 2 slate colored junco, 1 eastern pheobe, 11 white throated sparrow, 1 white crowned sparrow, 1 american robin = 53 birds total.

Sat. Oct. 9 @ Niagara: 2 ruby crowned kinglet, 1 brown creeper, 1 orange crowned warbler, 4 hermit thrush, 1 song sparrow, 12 white throated sparrow, 1 gray catbird = 22 birds total.

We caught 200 birds total this week!!!! :o)
